We offer pure Catamaransailing on HOBIE CATS. Our competent sailing instructors give individual lessons for kids, newcomers and advanced sailors as well regatta-sailor tuition or on request organise lessons for women only. You can finish the lessons by receiving a Catamaran-license. Improve your technique in sailing trapeze, strong wind- and speedsailing and enjoy the feeling of the Hobie way of life on Europes most beautiful coast. |

The WWS recognized Catamaran-Station is open throughout the year and is located in the middle of the most windiest beach of Lagos which is 7 km long. Wind and waves conditions are constant throughout the whole year. In the mornings, the wind is perfect for inexperienced sailors with a gently onshore breeze of 3 bft. After lunch it changes to North offshore. During the afternoon the wind increases to force 6 bft. The flat water conditions are perfect for trapez- and speedsailing. Every year a lot of regattas and races took place in the bay of Lagos. |

The turquoise Atlantic water temperatures vary between 16° during the winter and 23° during the summer, the mild climate with temperatures around 20° in the winter and 33° during the summer and furthermore the most hours of sunshine in Europe, guarantees you a whole year of sailing fun. |

It takes about three flight hours to the Portuguese south coast from Germany or England and can be reached easily via the international airport of Faro. The springtime with it's almond blossom begins already at the end of December. |
